These PVC (polyvinyl chloride) fittings have a thicker wall thickness than that of Schedule 40 and are rated for higher pressure water and approved chemicals. Biological - PVC is resistant to corrosion causing bacterial growth and fungi, and is suitable for use with potable water. 

Chemical Reistance - PVC pipe has an excellent resistance to a very large selection of chemicals including salt solutions, most acids, alcohols, halogens and alkalis. If you would like to know any specific resistances, contact us. 

Fire Rating - PVC has exceptional fire performance. PVC won't burn unless it is exposed to an outside flame source, thus making making it a self extinguishing material. With an ignition temperature of 730°F, PVC pipe meets many building code restrictions. (always consider your specific building code)
